Lorenzo
Coslovich

Physical therapist, MSc Strength & Conditioning, UKSCA Accredited S&C Coach (ASCC), Back & Spine Team Coordinator

Lorenzo was born and raised in Trieste (Italy), a city shaped by the sea and the wind, where sport is a natural language.
From an early age, he explored a wide range of physical activities - tennis, swimming, snowboarding, and rowing - before ultimately finding his true calling in sailing. After a formative period in Olympic classes, he returned to competitive sailing with determination following his academic studies, achieving several participations in European and World Championships in offshore and one-design classes.

To enhance his racing performance, he approached Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit, developing a strong interest in hybrid training, capable of combining strength, aerobic conditioning, and functional adaptation. This integrative view would become a core element of his professional approach.

He graduated in Physiotherapy from the University of Trieste (Italy) in 2013, with a thesis on the professional placement of young physiotherapists in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. He began his career at Fisiosan, one of Trieste's leading private clinics, specialising in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. From 2021 to 2025, he worked within the Azienda Sanitaria Universitaria Giuliano Isontina (ASUGI) team at Maggiore Hospital in Trieste (Italy), focusing on post-surgical rehabilitation and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

Over the years, he has pursued continuous professional development, gaining certifications in manual therapy techniques (Mulligan, McGill, Stecco, Dry Needling, HVLA), as well as international qualifications - mainly from the United States - in motor control and movement-based systems (such as SFMA) and strength & conditioning for sport. In parallel, he has provided support to professional athletes and competitive teams, including a local rugby team he worked with for over seven years.

Lorenzo has completed a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning at St Mary's University, Twickenham, London (UK). He has also achieved professional accreditation as a UKSCA Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach (ASCC), further strengthening his expertise in integrating therapeutic exercise, strength development, recovery, and return to performance.

Alongside his clinical practice, he has developed experience in education and professional training. Within his previous healthcare organisation, he lectured on professional development courses and served as a university tutor for undergraduate physiotherapy students.

Lorenzo joined the Sports Rehab team in 2025, where he coordinates the Back & Spine Team and contributes as a lecturer to the organisation's educational activities.

Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.
